Ian Dury fue un actor, compositor y lider de la banda Ian Dury and the Blockheads, con cierto éxito en los años 70 y que nos dejó alguna que otra canción digna de recordar a su paso por la música en el siglo pasado. Hace nada se cumplieron once años de su desaparición, y nos dejó sus vivencias adquiridas por su batallaje por el rock, funk, blues y punk. "Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll" quizás sea su tema más conocido allá por los años 70, pero tampoco le queda a la zaga este otro titulado "Hit Me with Your Rhythm Stick (pégame con tu palo rítmico)" con el que lo recordamos por su originalidad y personal forma de vivir la música.
