Van Halen: Jump

Su debut discográfico fue un tremendo éxito en 1978, hasta el punto de ser considerado como un hito en la historia del rock. Fueron toda una referencia en el denominado hard rock en los Estados Unidos. Al frente los hermanos Van Halen que dan nombre a la banda, aunque tambien contaron con la versatilidad y poderío vocal de David Lee Roth en su primera etapa. Su éxito fue tan grande que figuran en el Libro Guinness de los Records con la mayor cantidad de Nº 1's en la lista de rock de Billboard, llegando incluso Michael Jackson a solicitar a Eddie Van halen para que compusiera el sólo de guitarra de la canción "beat it" de su LP "Thriller".

De esa época es este single que seguro muchos de vosotros recordareís. Se trata de "Jump", catalogado como uno de los temas más influyentes en el salón de la fama del Rock And Roll, de ritmo y melodía pegadiza que cuenta con dos sólos -uno de guitarra y otro de sintetizador- que marcan un sello inconfundible, catapultando al álbum titulado 1984, al nivel de Disco de Diamante.
