Se hizo famosa a finales de los 50 formando un dúo con su -por aquel entonces- marido, Ike & Tina Turner. Pero fue en los 70 cuando sus actuaciones en directo con fuerte componente sexual la hizo alcanzar una reputación que la ha llevado a ser considerada "una de las más grandes intérpretes de todos los tiempos". Su continuación en los 80, ya en solitario, la aupó a los puestos más altos en ventas de disco y popularidad, convirtiéndose en todo un icono del rock.
Ella no es otra que "la reina del Rock 'n' Roll" Tina Turner, poseedora de una poderosa voz rebosante de energía, al igual que de unas vigorosas y bien torneadas piernas que la han mantenido firme década tras década. No podemos negar que su fuerza y energía a la hora de interpretar en directo es su gran baza pero..., tampoco podemos dejar pasar por alto otras canciones de talante más templado como "Look Me In The Heart" perteneciente a su álbum Foreign affair, donde nos muestra de igual manera su fuerza interpretativa, convirtiéndola en un "todo terreno" de la música.
