Fusionando el heavy metal con el funk, el free jazz o el hip-hop, Living Colour son una banda afro-americana que surgieron en los ochenta con letras punzantes contra el racismo y el eurocentrismo existente en esos años en américa. Ganadores de varios Grammys y premios, su disco debut contenía varios hits como "Glamour Boys" -en la producción ni más ni menos que Mick Jagger- que hicieron del disco uno de los más populares de ese año 1988.
