Trás la separación de Steely Dan surgió la carrera en solitario de una de las figuras más interesantes del siglo XX. Una forma de componer sugerente y de alto nivel, un sonido rico en matices y muy sugerente..., esa es la forma con la que se presentó Donald Fagen en su disco debut como solista en 1982.

si, si alguien pretende tener buen gusto musical, le debe gustar donal fagen. como anécdota, el nigthfly fue el primer disco del mundo grabado en sistema digital y algunos ingenieros en sonido hacen pruebas de equipos con este disco.
